VP Kamala Harris emerges as leading replacement for Pres. Biden
EXCLUSIVE: Vice President Kamala Harris has emerged among Hollywood donors as the Democratic frontrunner as calls grow for Joe Biden to step down, albeit with a caveat.
“Kamala Harris has worked hard for this, she is absolutely the obvious choice,” a longtime party operative and several presidential candidates said of the vice president.
"Can you imagine a former prosecutor taking on a crook like Trump? She would totally destroy him," said another Hollywood supporter, referring to Harris' previous stints as San Francisco district attorney and attorney general from California.
