Kick has reversed Steven “Destiny” Bonnell’s ban from the platform after a week, seemingly reversing its decision regarding “hate speech.”

After his ban was overturned, Destiny gave a shoutout to the streaming site's partial owner, Tyler "Trainwreck" Niknam. Destiny notes how Trainwreck spoke to the Kick moderation team, which opened up the opportunity for a broader conversation between all parties.

Last week, Destiny was given a temporary ban by Kick for “hate speech” that was set to expire on July 31. The “hate speech” in question centered around the recent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. Destiny used particularly provocative language when referring to Corey Comperatore, who was killed in the incident, and refused to apologize, saying he “never apologized for the way I treat conservative shit in this country.”
