Fans have long been waiting for more details about Killing Floor 3, and now those prayers have been answered, including the announcement of a release date.

Killing Floor 3 is a sequel to the second installment in the series from eight years ago. The game flipped the script by making the Zeds much more powerful enemies, but the balance was evened out by introducing weapon customizations.
Killing Floor 3's Zed upgrades include wall-climbing Crawlers and the chainsaw-wielding Scrake, who now comes equipped with a grappling hook. These changes increase the level of danger.
Game director Bryan Wynia explained in a June 9 interview with PC Gamer that Zeds "feel more like unique challenges now," and while there are now fewer Zeds to fight and the pace of combat is slower, "you have to deal with issues like the fact that Husks can now fly."
