20th Century Studios has officially announced the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes Hulu release date for the latest installment in the Planet of the Apes reboot franchise. This comes after the epic drama made its theatrical debut over two months ago.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes will be available to stream on Hulu beginning Friday, August 2. While we wait for the next sequel, fans can watch the entire Planet of the Apes franchise, including the 1970s adaptations.

During its theatrical run, the film grossed over $376 million worldwide and currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes.

"Several generations into the future after Caesar's reign, apes live harmoniously as the dominant species — and humans have been reduced to a life in the shadows," the synopsis reads. "As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, a young ape embarks on a terrifying journey that will cause him to question everything he knows about the past and make choices that will shape a future for both apes and humans."
