Two House members criticized Vice President Sara Duterte for blaming the Marcos government for the floods in Davao City.

Zambales Rep. Jefferson Khonghun and La Union Rep. Francisco Paolo Ortega pointed out that Duterte left for Germany during the height of heavy rains brought by Super Typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon, which caused flooding in many parts of the country.
“Is it possible that many netizens on #lakwatsara will have problems with Carina? Hindi is irresponsible, could I be the second highest official in the country if I am the second highest official in the country? It could be a problem,” Khonghun said.
“Look who is speaking and how he can voice criticism while the VP is president. Nasaan ka noong kailangan ka ng mga mamamayan? Safely marked by Carina kasi nasa Germany? Sana all talaga,” he added.
