After criticizing the shortcomings of the Marcos administration, Vice President Sara Duterte is now offering advice on effective leadership.

Duterte spoke of the need for leaders to remain honest and focused on public service, and to avoid temptations of money and illegal drugs.
“Leadership is loyalty to the oath of office. Leadership is faithful service to the people. Leaders should say only one thing: ‘It is done,’” she said in a statement posted Aug. 9.
“Leaders should not be motivated by money, cocaine or champagne. And leaders should certainly not be forced to hold champagne glasses,” she added.
