While the next major Fortnite update (Chapter 6) is still a ways off, the game will still receive content drops as the developers continue to add new things and make improvements. On August 6th, LEGO Fortnite will receive the v30.40 patch, which adds new toys, outfit styles, a fast travel feature, and more.

With this update, you can use the Battle Bus fast travel network to travel from one biome/region to another in a flash. This will be possible via the new Bus Stations, which will already be present in your world. You can destroy an existing Bus Station for Rift Shards, then use the ingredient to build a new one at your favorite spot.
The v30.40 patch also adds the ability to change world settings (until now, players had to create a new world to change settings). This is a much-appreciated quality-of-life improvement, and you can find more details about it below.
