Just over a month after the Master of Fate update, Hexworks surprised Lords of the Fallen players with a new free content featuring highly requested game modes.

Xbox just made some HUGE Game Pass changes…

In a free Clash of Champions content update on May 30, Lords of the Fallen received two new Boss Rush modes for players looking for the ultimate challenge. Accessible via the game’s Vestige checkpoint markers, these modes allow you to relive your favorite boss fights alone in single-player or with another Lampbearer in online co-op. Additionally, the patch brings further performance improvements.

Each of the game’s two Boss Rush modes offers a unique way to replay some of the game’s toughest fights. The first mode, Echoes of Battle, lets you replay a single boss fight, including Ellianne the Starved, Congregator of Flesh, and Radiant Sentinel. Crucible mode, on the other hand, is a gauntlet of six pre-selected encounters of increasing difficulty that you must complete without dying to earn rewards like Shrine Currency and exclusive armor tincts.

Clash of Champions released just a month after version 1.5, the final content update of the post-launch roadmap. Version 1.5 introduced more performance improvements, PvP and PvE game balancing, new spells, and the Advanced Game Modifier system, which lets you customize your playthrough with seven different modifiers.
