Lynn Walford started out working on cars with her father in the garage, stripping carburetors and restoring classics. She learned to drive in her sister's 1966 Mustang convertible. She also drove a 1965 Thunderbird convertible, followed by a 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spyder.

In 2014, she founded AUTO Connected Car News. She is currently the U.S. correspondent and editor for DMA Media’s Auto Futures and has covered auto, electric, and technology shows for over a decade. She has also had the privilege of driving some of the first prototypes of autonomous vehicles.

Lynn has written for Cars.com, Automotive IT News, Yahoo! Autos, Electric Car Insider, Investor's Business Daily and The Los Angeles Times.

Previously, she was an associate professor at community colleges and emeritus colleges with students ranging in age from 18 to 96.
