Marvel Rivals' closed alpha had limited access to the game, but it looks like it's now easier than ever to join in.
So I tried Marvel Rivals.
The closed alpha was set to end on May 20 and was invite-only, but some players were able to give access to friends through a special in-game promotion. When players reach level six in the alpha, they can unlock a friend invite code.
That promotion was set to end soon, but NetEase Games announced on the Marvel Rivals Discord server that the friend invite event has been extended. It will now end in two days on May 17 at 7pm CT, giving players two extra days to give access to a friend.
Technically, you don’t even have to be friends with someone to get a code. Many players sell access codes on sites like eBay, but the ethics and legality are unclear and it’s also pretty easy to get scammed.
