Meghan Markle hasn't even scratched the surface when it comes to her mental health journey.

Why Meghan Markle spoke openly about her struggle with suicidal thoughts

The Duchess of Sussex explained why she previously spoke openly about her suicidal thoughts, as she and Prince Harry launched The Parents' Network through their Archewell Foundation.

"If you've been through any level of pain or trauma, I believe that part of our healing journey (certainly part of mine) is to be able to really be open about it," she told CBS News. "And you know, I haven't really scratched the surface of my experience. But I do think that I would never want anyone else to feel that way. And I would never want anyone else to make those kinds of plans. And I would never want anyone else to be disbelieved.

"So if by sharing what I've overcome I can save someone, or encourage someone in their life to really check in with themselves and not assume that outward appearances are okay, then that's worth it. I'll take a hit for that," Meghan added.
