The prologue (also known as playtest) of An Amazing Wizard will be released on Steam on August 22, 2024. This is an incredible feat considering there are only two people working on its development: the founder, Jakub Dąbrowski, and Ivan David Fernández Morantes; a pixel artist.
The prologue to An Amazing Wizard is completely free to play for fans and includes new features not available in the demo.
Those who play the prologue will be able to explore the new Ancient Desert world, a brand new map featuring never-before-seen enemies like Thunder Spirits and Mummies. You’ll need to strategize to defeat these new monsters as the Wizard, especially since they both use fast attacks that can take you down with ease. As a fair warning to anyone reading this, Thunder Spirits can duplicate themselves near you, and Mummies can use a ranged attack with their bandages.
