The new look of Microsoft Office is now available to everyone with the Windows 11 version of Office 365 and Office 2021.

The new visual update for Office is rolling out to all users this week, Microsoft announced Thursday. The new design, which was initially announced in June with testing by select users over the summer, mimics the overall user experience of Windows 11.
“This visual refresh of Office is based on feedback from customers asking for a more natural and consistent experience within and across their applications, particularly on Windows,” Microsoft wrote in its blog post announcing the visual refresh.
“With this update, we provide an intuitive, coherent and familiar user interface, based on the principles of Fluent Design, for all your applications.”
