How can I move an open program window using only my computer's keyboard in Windows?

So for those of you who don’t like using a mouse, it would be pretty cool if you could move a window around using just the keyboard in Windows 7, right? Well, there are a few ways to do this and while you may not need to do it all that often, it does come in handy on the rare occasion!

In this article I will show you how to move a window to the desired position in small steps, how to pin a window to the left or right, and how to move a window between monitors in a multi-monitor setup. And all that using just the keyboard!

For exact positioning, you must first click on the window. Of course, this only works for windows that are not fully maximized. If it is fully maximized, there is really no place to move the window.
