Another new set has dropped in Magic: The Gathering Arena. It has bugged the system, causing matches to drop in Limited events and other modes during the digital release of Bloomburrow.

Bloomburrow’s July 30th digital launch via MTG Arena went smoothly until around 1:00 p.m. CT, when players began reporting dropped matches. As with most new sets dropping in the digital client, players were able to access the new cards and start playing before the update was finalized. Dropped matches occurred in Limited Draft events, leaving players frustrated and out nearly $10 unless WotC refunded the Draft tokens.

At the time of writing, the MTG Arena status states: "We are investigating reports of network errors and general inactivity. Maintenance is ongoing."

In response to the massive amount of complaints, WotC has disabled MTG Arena, disconnecting players who were logged in and preventing players who were not yet in the client from logging in.
