The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is building an airtight case against those responsible for making and distributing the video that was first shared during a political rally in Los Angeles, California, Director Jaime Santiago said Tuesday.

Suspects have been identified in Santiago, but evidence is still being gathered.

“So tinitibayan namin ang lahat ng aming ebidensya (we are strengthening our evidence). The PNP (Philippine National Police) and NBI are working together to solve this problem,” Santiago said during a press conference.

The PNP and the NBI said their spectral image analysis showed the video was processed in such a way that Marcos snorted a white powdery substance from a small cup.
