Netgear has announced the first Wi-Fi 6E mesh networking system to complement its Orbi line of internet routers.

According to Netgear's press release, the new product is called the Orbi Quad-band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System, which the company claims is the first of its kind. The Quad-band Mesh can support up to four different Wi-Fi bands as an internet center for your home, delivering blazing-fast connection speeds.
There’s a lot to be learned from the device’s name. Wi-Fi 6E is the latest standard for Wi-Fi technology that supports the newly available 6Ghz band, and “Mesh” refers to the nodes that extend the network’s range across a location.
Netgear calls these nodes “satellites” and you can order two per purchase.
