The latest Switch is the late 2021 OLED model. While nothing has been announced yet, there’s speculation that Nintendo is working on a new model called the Switch Pro. What that means isn’t really clear since Nintendo has yet to confirm such a device, but let’s take a look at what the rumors say.
New major leaks about the Nintendo Switch have surfaced!
It’s hard to say when or if the Switch Pro will come out, as Nintendo hasn’t said anything about it yet. Some say we won’t see new hardware until after March 2024 , and Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said the following in late 2022:
This might suggest that a new model is not to be expected for the time being. But at the same time, it does not really rule out the possibility.
Just like the release date, there has been no official announcement regarding the Switch Pro’s price. But if we’re to go by the OLED model, this Switch will cost over $350, which is the price of the 2021 OLED Switch.
