Euro 2024 will take a short break between the end of the group stage and the start of the knockout phase, but EA FC 24 Ultimate Team is not resting. An incredible new set of Greats of the Game introduces some of the biggest legends to this summer’s Festival of Football.

The Festival of Football kicked off with a Greats of the Game release, and halfway through we’re getting a new batch of some of the most prolific players ever. This is the second and final Greats of the Game team, meaning EA can go all out and bring out all the legends who’ve graced the European Championships and the Copa America in the past.
The resulting line-up is impressive, if limited in the variety of nations represented. As with the previous release, players are divided into Icons and Heroes. Twenty-one of the 22 Icons come from six nations, with Argentina’s Javier Zanetti joining the roster. Even England has been reduced to a single Hero, Steve McManaman. Fans of the neglected nations will hopefully find relief in the wizardry of Greats of the Game such as Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Johan Cruyff and Zinedine Zidane.
