Universal Pictures has officially confirmed that Emmy winner Christopher Lloyd will return to the cast of Nobody 2 for the upcoming sequel to the 2021 action film.

Lloyd will reprise his role as Hutch's father David Mansell, a retired FBI agent. In the first installment, he came to his son's aid by helping him fend off the rest of the Russian mob. The Back to the Future star will soon be seen in Netflix's Wednesday Season 2 in a guest role. He previously played Uncle Fester in the early '90s adaptations of The Addams Family.
Lloyd will rejoin returning cast members Bob Odenkirk and Connie Nielson. Golden Globe winner Sharon Stone has also been cast in the sequel as the main antagonist. The film is being directed by Indonesian filmmaker Tim Tjahjanto from a screenplay by John Wick franchise creator Derek Kolstad, Odenkirk, Aaron Rabin and Umair Aleem.
Nobody 2 is being produced by Kelly McCormick and David Leitch for 87North, Odenkirk and Marc Provissiero for Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and Braden Aftergood for Eighty Two Films. Universal Pictures presidents Jay Polidoro and Tony Ducret will oversee the project.
