London gadget maker Nothing is back with the launch of its third product: the Nothing Ear Stick.
Nothing Ear (Stick): What Worked (and What Didn't)
Contrary to the name, this isn’t a stick that you slide into your ear canal. Instead, the Ear Stick is simply a pair of earbuds, albeit with some interesting and unique specs. Nothing’s latest creation features a comfortable semi-in-ear design and an extremely lightweight form factor, weighing in at 4.4 grams each, to allow for extended use.
Nothing says that the 12.6mm dynamic audio driver that comes with the Ear Stick is “one of the most sensitive on the market,” excelling in “clear highs and striking detail.” To that end, Nothing’s new earbuds even stand out from the company’s Ear 1 earbuds, thanks to high-performance driver magnets that reinforce the diaphragm for consistent sound quality at both low and high volumes.
These earbuds also feature a patented Bass Lock technology that starts with AI-powered software that measures the ear canal and adjusts the bass frequency response accordingly. In other words, each person gets their own unique EQ curve.
