Nvidia Shield owners can now enjoy Apple TV content on their Shield streaming box.

This is why you should NOT buy the Nvidia Shield TV in 2024

Nvidia has announced that the Apple TV app will be coming to the Shield streaming device on June 1. According to The Verge, the release of Apple TV on the Shield is another step in Apple's plan to bring the service to as many devices as possible.

Nvidia says the Shield will enable Apple TV subscribers to take advantage of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, allowing them to experience more immersive sounds and visuals in the shows they watch. The streaming box will also give subscribers easy access to their shows using hands-free voice controls that leverage Google Assistant.

Users will be able to access all of their Apple TV channels through the new app, including AMC+, Paramount+ and other streaming services. The Shield’s built-in AI system will also upscale content from regular HD to 4K, which Nvidia says will help deliver the best cinematic experience currently available on any streaming device.
