OpenAI's SearchGPT – A Strong Challenger to Google Search
OpenAI, the company behind the popular ChatGPT, is launching a test version of a search engine that lists information sources, including news from business partners in the content sector.
SearchGPT summarizes websites, including news sites, and allows users to ask follow-up questions, as they can already do with ChatGPT.
It's a direct challenge to Google, which has also tried to apply generative AI to its web search engines.
