The company has just officially launched new entries in its Reno7 smartphone line, as announced in a press release. These 5G phones are packed with aesthetic flourishes that set them apart from competitors.

First, the company used a proprietary chemical etching and acid-washing process to create a frosted glass exterior that they say is inspired by "crystals and snowflakes." In addition to a unique look, this process also gives the back of the phone a tactile feel that improves grip, according to Oppo.

That’s not all. The company used the same laser imaging technology used in semiconductor manufacturing to create a star trail pattern on the back of the smartphone. The end result: a visual illusion of shooting stars streaking across the device before fading to black.
