In this Rogue Trader build guide for Pasqal, we'll be supporting his melee and ranged-focused playstyle as a versatile DPS. Pasqal's unique gear setup allows him to do things other characters can't, so let's get building.

This build is up to date for patch 1.1.28.
Pasqal is a Forge World Operative Tech Priest by default, but his ideal setup is with a Death World background. As such, I highly recommend using the incredibly helpful Toybox Mod to implement the change. Additionally, Toybox allows you to fully equip your characters, including companions like Pasqal, so that’s a secondary benefit. Now, due to the nature of Pasqal’s unique loadout situation, he gains access to special abilities and equip privileges that no other character in the game (including the Rogue Trader) can. As such, this build will take full advantage of this by turning him into a DPS machine for both melee and ranged combat. We’ll also be looking to improve his survivability a bit (through Talents) so that he’s not such a glass cannon. Finally, Pasqal can equip a 2-handed Ranged Weapon and a 2-handed Melee Weapon without having to switch to his secondary weapon set. We’ll be taking full advantage of this as well.
