The Timed Research offers additional encounters with fearsome Ultra Beasts. These are rare Pokémon that you can add to your collection without having to challenge them to raid battles, which may appeal to many players who don’t often tackle the larger five-star raids in Pokémon Go. The tasks are relatively simple, but you’ll want to act quickly to earn all the rewards.
There are two types of Timed Research missions available for the Inbound From Ultra Space event in Pokémon Go. The first is available to all players and contains two sets of tasks. The Premium Timed Research is a purchasable one that will grant you XL Candy from various Ultra Beasts.
