Pokémon Go is getting two new events to close out the current season. One of them is that every player will get access to a free Master Ball and huge experience bonuses if they play the game every day.
How to Get the Master Ball in Pokémon GO
The Catching Wonders event, which runs from May 14 at 10 a.m. local time to May 19 at 8 p.m. PT, is focused squarely on catching more Pokémon. In its announcement for the upcoming event, Niantic didn’t offer any details on boosted encounters or raids, only the return of Masterwork Research, which awards a free Master Ball, plus various Pokémon Go event bonuses.
Masterwork Research: Catching Wonders marks the first time players can receive a free Master Ball since the Timed Investigation: Master Ball research concluded last November.
Since this is Masterwork Research, it will take much longer than typical Special Research, though the reward is a Master Ball, Berries, Stardust, XP, and special encounters with rare Pokémon. Niantic has also stated that this research does not expire, so you can complete it "at your own pace."
