Rebecca Ferguson stars in Netflix's upcoming Peaky Blinders film, starring opposite series veteran Cillian Murphy.

Details of Ferguson's character in the Peaky Blinders film have yet to be revealed. She will join previously announced cast member Murphy, who will reprise his role as Birmingham gangster family leader Thomas "Tommy" Shelby. Production on the upcoming film is expected to begin this year.

Meanwhile, plot details for the film are still being kept under wraps, though it is expected to be set during World War II. Aside from Murphy, it is not yet known who else will return to reprise their respective roles in the series. The Peaky Blinders series will follow Tommy Shelby, whose prominent status in Birmingham is threatened by Detective Inspector Chester Campbell, who is determined to stamp out his reign of terror.
