Tired of your phone going crazy with notifications from your Ring Doorbell Camera that you don’t really need to know about? Ring gets it and is working to fix it.

Battery Doorbell Pro | Advanced 3D Motion Detection + Top-to-toe HD+ Video

In a blog post on Wednesday, Ring announced the latest addition to its battery-powered security camera lineup, the Ring Battery Doorbell Pro (not to be confused with the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus). The new camera looks identical to previous models, but offers some improvements to video quality and recording capabilities.

The video quality of the new Ring Battery Doorbell Pro has been bumped up to 1536p HD+. This means you’ll get higher-quality video, and with the “enhanced image sensors” in the Ring Battery Doorbell Pro, you’ll see clearer video no matter the conditions it’s captured in. Ring has also added color capabilities to the new camera, as well as “Low-Light Sight,” which can use light from streetlights or landscape lights to ensure video is captured in color, even in the dark.

To further improve the video it records, Ring also added radar-based 3D motion detection, making "motion alerts with the Battery Doorbell Pro more refined and accurate," Ring Product Director Elaine Smith wrote in the blog post.
