Riot Games fans have been experiencing general bugs and issues with the company's anti-cheat feature, Vanguard, across multiple titles over the past day.

VANGUARD ERROR: OF 84 (FIX IN COMMENTS) – League of Legends

In League of Legends and VALORANT, players have reported multiple errors popping up, preventing them from loading into games or disconnecting from an ongoing match. One of the most common errors to hit the platform is VAN 84, which has to do with an issue with the game’s anti-cheat system.

Fortunately for gamers, developers Riot have been made aware of the increasing number of errors and disconnections and have indicated that the issues are due to a backend networking issue. They will investigate and fix the issues and will send an update in the game client once all issues have been resolved.

Additionally, any queue restrictions or bans issued due to disconnects, dodges, or AFKs will then be removed. This should be a welcome sight for most players, as many were getting disconnected from different servers during matches.
