After months of complaints from the VALORANT player base, Riot Games has finally made a major change to the game’s map pool system, and casual players are very happy about it.

The REAL reason VALORANT is removing Maps

Product Manager Tiffy Tsay announced today that when Patch 8.11 arrives, there will no longer be a limited map pool for non-competitive queues in VALORANT. This means that every map in the game will be available across Unrated, Swiftplay, Spike Rush, and Escalation.

This was a much requested change after players grew tired of the lack of map variety, especially for those not jumping into ranked play. Some players grew tired of seeing the same maps in ranked, but because the same map pool existed in other, more relaxed modes, there was nowhere to experience the full map rotation outside of custom games.
