Rob Peace's official trailer for Republic Pictures' upcoming biographical drama from Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor has been released. Following its world premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, the film is now scheduled to hit select theaters on August 16, 2024.

The trailer for Rob Peace stars Ejiofor as an imprisoned father whose titular son will do anything to get him out of prison. The video also introduces Jay Will as Rob Peace, Mary J. Blige as Jackie, Camila Cabello as Naya, and Michael Kelly as Reverend Edwin Leahy. Additional cast members include Gbenga Akinnagbe, Mare Winningham, Caleb Eberhardt, Curt Morlaye, Juan Castano, Benjamin Papac, and more.
"The film follows the true story of a brilliant young man (Will) torn between his father's dark past and his own promising future," the synopsis reads. "Raised by his devoted mother (Blige), Rob risks everything he's worked for to free his imprisoned father (Ejiofor)."
