President Ferdinand Martin Romualdez condemned the dangerous and provocative actions of two Chinese fighter jets against a Philippine Air Force (PAF) aircraft patrolling the skies near Panatag Shoal.

“This latest aggressive action by China does not promote peace and stability in the West Philippine Sea and the region. It does not speak well of a country that is trying to be a world power and leader,” Romualdez said.
Romualdez also stressed that the conflict between countries cannot be resolved through aggression, intimidation and bullying.
The party leader also expressed his support and gratitude to the PAF personnel for the courage, bravery and patriotism they showed in protecting the national territory and sovereignty.
