Scott Peterson's sister says he partied when Laci went missing

Scott Peterson’s sister-in-law Janey believes he is innocent of the 2002 murders of Laci Peterson and their unborn son Conner. Now, for the first time in 20 years, Scott will speak out in a Peacock documentary, Face to Face with Scott Peterson. It will feature interviews with those involved in the case, including Janey Peterson, who continues to argue for Scott’s innocence. The three-part documentary series is set to premiere on August 20, 2024, and will explore recent developments in the sensational case.

Scott Peterson's sister-in-law Janey has supported his claims of innocence in the murders of Laci and their unborn son, Conner. TODAY reported that Janey Peterson, the wife of his older brother Joe, has been fighting to prove his innocence for nearly two decades. Janey told the outlet that she has known Scott since they were 13 and that they talk often. Scott is currently serving a life sentence at Mule Creek State Prison.

In the interview, Janey Peterson claimed that new evidence could prove Scott's innocence. She said, "There is evidence that was completely ignored that shows that Laci was still alive after he left for the day." Janey believes that evidence could link a pair of men who were involved in a burglary right across the street from the Petersons' home to the crime. She believes that Laci Peterson got into a confrontation with these men the same morning she disappeared.
