The Your Phone app got a major overhaul with the release of Windows 11 22H2 and the app has now been renamed to Phone Link. Phone Link improves on its predecessor by offering a streamlined experience and a UI that complements the overall aesthetic of Windows 11. Another feature introduced by the Phone Link app is the ability to search your messages directly on Windows. Here’s how to get started with that.

Please note: This guide assumes you have already paired your Android device to your PC. If you haven't, we recommend pairing your devices first before following the guide below. You will also need the new and improved version of the Phone Link app, now available as Windows 11 update 22H2.
Open the Phone Link app on your PC and click Messages.
After refreshing the page, click on the search bar at the top.
