The Sony LinkBuds 2 release date hasn’t been officially announced yet. However, if you go by the FCC filing, it says the STC date is September 12, 2024. An STC (Short-Term Confidentiality) means that Sony is asking the FCC to keep sensitive information private until a release or launch date. So we can expect a release as early as September.
We haven’t heard any official pricing yet. Rumor has it that the LinkBuds 2 will cost around $298. However, they’ll likely be around the same price as the original LinkBuds or LinkBuds S, which launched for $179.99 and $199.99 respectively.
