Lucasfilm mess: Lando director claims Disney+ series is DEAD… but Donald Glover says otherwise

Justin Simien says the Solo: A Star Wars Story spin-off series Lando starring Donald Glover will not happen.

Collider published comments from Simien on Friday indicating that Lando is dead.

Simien is promoting Hollywood Black, an MGM+ docuseries based on the book by scholar Donald Bogle that explores race and representation in Hollywood. Then the Lando project came up.
