A successful slideshow isn’t just about creating it, it’s also about presenting it to your audience when the time comes. Here, we’ll show you which keys to press, which action buttons to use, and which mouse clicks you need to use to start and navigate a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.

There are a few ways to start a slide show in PowerPoint. The one you use depends on which slide you want to start with or whether you want to use Presenter view. You can also use options in the PowerPoint ribbon or keyboard shortcuts.

To navigate through the presentation, you can use the buttons on the toolbar in Slide Show view or Presenter view, the shortcut menu (right-click), or keyboard shortcuts.
