The reigning world champions T1 secured a spot in the MSI Bracket stage after serving up FlyQuest with the fastest best-of-three in League of Legends competitive international history. T1, with their status as reigning world champions, entered the series as favorites, while FlyQuest were looking to prove their mettle on the international stage.

The highly anticipated match brought historic rivalries to the MSI stage, featuring a mid-lane match between Jensen and Faker, as well as some new rivalries, such as Massu's head-to-head clash with one of his idols, Gumayusi.

But with over a million fans tuning in hoping to see a thrilling match, T1 quickly took the qualifier win with a 2-0 win in just 45 and a half minutes. In both matches, T1 closed with a lead of over 10K gold, despite FlyQuest's early play giving them a slight advantage.

That lead never materialized, however, and the first match of the series quickly turned into a display of T1 dominance. With precise rotations and impeccable team coordination, T1 quickly amassed a significant gold lead, leaving FlyQuest struggling to keep up. By the 17-minute mark, T1 had dismantled FlyQuest’s defense and secured the win in a breathtakingly short match.
