Big changes are coming to Teamfight Tactics with Patch 14.8, from late-game champions getting an HP buff to a vertical Heavenly bonus nerf. Here's a look at all the active PBE balance changes.
New Fast 9 High Roll Comp in patch 14.8 | TFT Set 11
Patch 14.8 is a major update within TFT Set 11 for competitive players, with the first Inkborn Fables Americas Tactician's Cup taking place in late April. It's also an important update for casual players looking to reach Diamond rank and beyond. We already knew about HP buffs for four- and five-cost units thanks to game design director Stephen "Mortdog" Mortimer earlier in the week . And all of the early Patch 14.8 changes were confirmed via Patch Rundown on April 14.
System changes in Patch 14.8 will adjust how the Set 11 Inkborn Fables meta is played, from player base damage adjustments to shop odds at Level Seven. Streaks once again award one gold with a win or loss streak of two. And shop odds for four-cost champions at Level Seven have been weakened from 19/30/40/10/1 to 20/33/36/10/1 percent.
At the time of writing, most of the PBE changes in Patch 14.8 target specific breakpoints within a Set 11 trait. For example, the Fortune trait had lower player health, while the health percentage damage for Dragonlord champions was weakened at breakpoints four and five. A buff applied to the Exalted trait could impact the 14.8 meta.
