Update (July 25, 2024): Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them's Katherine Waterston has also joined the cast of The Agency. According to Deadline, she will play a character named Naomi, who is the ex-handler of Fassbender's character.

Original Story (July 15, 2024): Paramount+ and Showtime have added Star Wars: The Acolyte star Jodie Turner-Smith to the cast of The Agency for their latest spy drama series.
Turner-Smith has been tapped to play Sami Zahir, a social anthropology professor with a history with secret CIA agent Martian. This is her latest major TV project following roles in The Last Ship, Nightflyers and Anne Boleyn. In addition to The Agency, Turner-Smith will also star in the Apple TV+ drama Bad Monkey with Vince Vaughn and Michelle Monaghan.
Turner-Smith is officially joined by previously announced cast members Michael Fassbender as Martian, Jeffrey Wright as Henry and Richard Gere as Bosko. Production on the espionage thriller has already begun in London. The upcoming Paramount+ and Showtime series is based on the French drama La Bureau des Légendes, which aired from 2015 to 2020.
