He is a former professional basketball player who now pursues a career as a day trader. He is a Lakers fan who also enjoys bowling and karaoke nights. As the Bachelor, Ellis is "eager to embark on a journey filled with romance, adventure and genuine connection. He hopes to find a partner who shares his values of loyalty, humor and a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life," according to ABC.
