For some reason, my spring cleaning efforts this year have been a lot more intense than usual: I’ve been reorganizing all of my stuff, throwing out old things, and trying to find better ways to store what I’m keeping instead of just trying to fix it up as it is. This has worked great with my clothes, kitchen gadgets, makeup, and decor, but I’ve found myself getting frustrated trying to find a better way to store my bags. Purses and purses are inherently roomy, and the idea of folding or scrunching them up is unappealing because they look much worse when you actually use them. I’ve been thinking about bag storage solutions for about a week now, and I think I’ve finally come up with a few good solutions.

I make a living writing and I’m also in college, so wherever I go, my laptop goes, which means I have a ton of purses and large capacity bags. When I’m not staring at a screen, I like to dress up and go out, which means I have a ton of small bags too. I saw a trick from a vintage seller named Aarica Nichole on Instagram to store small bags with materials you can buy at your local hardware store, so I gave it a try.
