“I’ve used both over-ear headphones and earbuds and think each style has its place. But I totally agree that $550 for the AirPods Max is ridiculous, and I don’t think it’s a great move by Apple,” JP Zhang, a software engineer and self-proclaimed audiophile, told Lifewire via email.
