OnePlus CEO Pete Lau unveiled the company's new Nord N200, a budget-friendly 5G smartphone launching later this year.

Lau showed off the Nord N200 during an interview with PCMag on Monday. According to Android Authority, the new budget phone will be a rebranded Oppo A93 5G and will feature a full HD display as well as support for 5G connectivity. The Nord N200's overall design bears a resemblance to last year's N100 (which Android Authority also notes was a rebranded Oppo phone) and will join the company's budget 5G offerings.

We’ve seen a number of companies push cheaper 5G phones in recent months, and OnePlus has been chief among that group with devices like the $300 Nord N10 5G . The N200, however, will offer similar features for less, including a large 6.49-inch display with a 1080P LCD panel. It will also feature a 90Hz refresh rate, which should help provide a smoother response in visually-intensive applications.

According to PCMag, the Nord N200 will have triple camera slots on the back, just like the Oppo A93 5G, and a fairly large camera bump, which is not uncommon for current-gen smartphones. Full details about the phone have not been shared yet, but OnePlus reportedly plans to slowly release more details about the upcoming device via Twitter. At this time, neither a price nor a release date have been officially announced.
