Nothing is expanding its smartphone lineup with the Phone (2a) Plus. It’s only been a few months since Nothing released the Phone (2a), but apparently that’s enough time to introduce upgraded hardware and an AI-powered news feed that, oddly enough, is read out by the company’s CFO.

There are also a couple of new colors: metallic Gray and an updated Black. Unfortunately, US customers are stuck with just Gray.

Compared to the Phone (2a), the biggest changes in the Phone (2a) Plus are the camera and the chip. The 32MP selfie camera of its predecessor has been upgraded to 50MP, which means it can capture more detailed images. The triple-camera system supports HDR and 4K video recording.

This phone comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G processor. Clocked at 3.0GHz, Nothing says it's 10 percent faster than the 2.8GHz Phone (2a) powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro. It's backed by an ARM Mali-G610 MC4 GPU for 30 percent faster gaming.
