After Ubisoft deliberately created controversies around their games to cover up their high pricing, Asmongold has come under fire from some of the company's fans. One X user in particular wished Asmongold the same after celebrating the passing of YouTuber twomad, who has now responded.

This game is for me. I am the target audience.

The streamer weighed in on the situation surrounding Ubisoft's upcoming game, Assassin's Creed: Shadows. He claimed that Ubisoft is intentionally creating discourse and controversy so that players' attention isn't focused on the company's steep prices, which often go up to $130 for ultimate editions of its games.

One fan was unhappy with these statements and in a May 18th post on X, formerly Twitter, they celebrated the passing of controversial YouTuber twomad and asked God to "perform one more miracle for them," targeting Asmongold. On May 19th, the streamer joked about these ill-wishes, saying "they will learn to love me."

Asmongold also pointed out how the tweet calling for his death garnered massive support. “It’s fun to see how many people got angry about that. It’s crazy,” he said. His editor, who often jumps into his YouTube clips, also invited viewers to report both the user and the tweet. The campaign was successful and the tweet has since been deleted, but the user remains active on the platform.
