Imagine something the size of an old iPod Nano, only it could run apps, download podcasts, and work with your AirPods. That’s the TinyPod, and it shows why Apple should be making iPods again.

It seems pointless to want a dedicated music player when we all have phones in our pockets and pods in our ears, but there is definitely a place for a dedicated music device. For starters, the iPhone is a pretty bad music player. Sure, it sounds great, but the built-in Music app is just awful. Come back to it after a while, for example, and it takes you back to the home screen and forces you to find where you left off. We fixed saving the music playing state with the cassette tape, so come on Apple.
