Recent Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce is set to star in Loose Cannons, an action film in development at Lionsgate, sources have confirmed to Deadline.

Plot details for the film are still under wraps, and it’s expected to be some time before filming begins, given that the new NFL season is just weeks away. The script is by Timothy Dowling (Pixels). Chad Stahelski of the John Wick franchise will produce for 87Eleven Entertainment, along with Jason Spitz and Alex Young.
Kelce, who's as famous for his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift as he is for his work as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, is reportedly making his feature film debut with Loose Cannons . In the early days of his Hollywood career, he's only committed to the lead role in Ryan Murphy's new horror drama Grostesquerie , premiering Wednesday, September 25 on FX. The show centers on a series of grisly crimes that have shaken a small community and centers on Detective Lois Tryon (Niecy Nash-Betts), who finds the crimes eerily personal, as if someone — or something — is tormenting her. It also stars Lesley Manville and Courtney B. Vance, and Kelce's role has been kept under wraps until now.
