The Quiet Ones (2014) – 'Stare' TV spot
TrustNordisk has added sales in key territories for “The Quiet Ones,” a heist action drama from Denmark’s Zentropa and director Frederik Louis Hviid premiering at TIFF.
Starring Gustav Giese, Amanda Collin and Reda Kateb, "The Quiet Ones" has signed Spain (Flins & Piniculas), Poland (MediaSquad), former Yugoslavia (Cinemania Group) and the Baltics (Europos Kinas). Further deals are still being negotiated. "The Quiet Ones" has been pre-sold to Magnolia Pictures for the US, Germany (Plaion) and South Korea (PoongKyong Sori). The Scandinavian release is being handled by Nordisk Film Distribution.
Zentropa’s Kasper Dissing, who also produced “Another Round,” is targeting a “broad young audience.” “The Quiet Ones” is a fictional thriller that recreates the largest heist ever committed in Denmark, which took place just as the 2008 financial crisis hit Europe.
